Hi! I’m Megan. I’m a 30-something, slightly atypical engineer, currently unmarried, mom to a super cute pup, who really struggles to write bios. Who really wants to be defined by a few bullet points?
I have always had some outlet for creativity in my life. It was music, then art, and has recently been through my career as a design engineer trying to puzzle together solutions for messy problems. This writing adventure, though, is a new (and welcome) outlet. It was sometime mid-2017, I reached out to my friend Tracy and said “I think I am supposed to write”. She reached out a few months later with an opportunity to guest write here at Facet’s about fear. Writing feels vulnerable, but I think that is what makes this space so beautiful. Scary, but beautiful.
I believe God brings us together around stories. We are made to live in relationship with the Lord, but also in community with each other. I pray as God leads me through this new adventure of writing and sharing, that a safe space is cultivated. A space where you find you aren’t alone, a place where you can learn, laugh, and grieve, and ultimately a space to connect with a Father that loves you so so much.
